We believe that older people should never experience loneliness and isolation, and should have every opportunity to live their lives in dignity and with respect.
The medical, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of older people are right at the top of our list of priorities, and we work hard to ensure that all our residents are valued members of the community.
In order to do this effectively, we rely on the help and support of people like you. It’s people just like you who generously give their time and money, share their skills, and offer practical and emotional support to our residents, enabling us to do more for older people.
Together, we can improve the lives of older people in Bath. Here’s how you can get involved:
When you volunteer with Bridgemead, you know that you’re making an immediate difference to the life of an older person. We have 32 residents and 8 Day Club members in our home at Bridgemead, so there are plenty of opportunities to make a real difference.
There are many opportunities to support our fundraising. We use the funds that you donate to support our current services, to continually improve our care provision, and to ensure high quality, sustainable care for future generations. Find out how you can fundraise from organising an event, taking a challenge, helping with a collection, or forming a corporate partnership. Email us at fundraising@bridgecare.org.uk
Leaving a legacy is a very special and generous way to improve the lives of older people and to enable them to benefit from the high standard of care you too enjoyed at Bridgemead. With a legacy gift we could transform the garden, build beautiful sun rooms, organise more day trips for our residents, extend our services to the wider community, and enable more older people to benefit from our high quality care, whatever their circumstances. Find out how you can leave a legacy at fundraising@bridgecare.org.uk
We all know that action and engagement is strongest with a word of mouth recommendation. Please tell your friends, family and community about the work we do so that more people are inspired to support us with volunteering and fundraising.
