In 1999, some of those who’d helped to establish Bridgemead formed a group: Friends of Bridgemead. They were registered as a separate charity in November 2000. The Friends’ aim is to raise funds to support Bridgemead through various events and activities. They have been most successful, raising between £5,000 and £13,000 in a year.
Friends of Bridgemead membership is open to anybody. It’s run by an elected and enthusiastic committee who plan fundraising events throughout the year.
Their fundraising events have been curtailed during the Covid 19 pandemic but they remain busy and helpful in the background.
The current chair of Friends of Bridgemead is Una McCullough. She would love to hear from anyone interested in joining and being part of this great cause, her email is: email@example.com.
